how necessary is it to attend o week like can i just skip it? what do you need to get done then e.g. timetables? do you have to go every single day? im planning on going overseas and wanted to return just before teaching period starts

you can skip it

the only important thing to do is collect student id card (but you should be able to get it later)

besides that its just campus tours, getting free food, collecting free hoodie, visiting society stalls, etc.

Fyi, you can only get a free unsw hoodie during the O-week of your first trimester
If you go any other time, they'll not give you one
