so now i just find songs i like and learn em...

and yeah ive been playing a lot, too much spare time...

where can i download midi files from? everytime i look them up, they want me to buy CDs!!!@#$%@#%@#
i'm trying to play Pavane pour une infante defunte by Ravel so if anyone sees a midi file for that let me know!!!!!

piano versions of this makes. me. cringe.
it oversimplifies and murders the original composition like a heartless vocalist who thinks the piano is a percussion instrument
gah.
as much as i love the piano i have yet to hear any arrangements that doesn't murder the original composition and then stab it a few thousand times more in an excrutiatingly painful fashion.

and if i hear another person play arrangment of songs with yucky arpeggios as the accompaniment and abruptly stops at every chord change i will run them into the tree. typical examples are that titanic song and anything that sells on the pianistic virtuosity of a pop star :rolleyes: :rolleyes: :rolleyes:
