Hey guys.

Got a problem atm; parents offered me their 2005 Camry for $5000 (its valued $10000).
Looking around though, the brand new auto Hyundai i20's are (after some of my own discounts) $10000, so basically, for an extra $5k, would it be worth waiting for a new car? Any opinions?

"For an extra 5k" - that's twice the price! The camry is arguably more car too, but iirc a 2005 camry is one of the last years of that generation and are looking pretty dated.

Either way, especially at this age, I think you are better off buying a car that is a year or two old rather than a brand new one. Still likely in warranty (but make sure it transfers), but has already been through the new car depreciation.

just a buy a nice sports car or something. If you have the budget of 10K, i'd go for JDM IMO.
OR JUST buy that camry for 5k, sell it for 8k and add 2K... got urself a 10K car for 7K ;)
