Re: Breaking News: Paris Hilton released from Jail

I don't believe this, how absolutely freaking gay is this. First her sentence gets cut in half and then she gets out after 3 days, like some guy said in the news, she really is like a 2 year old kid that threw childish tantrums to get out of punishment

die you useless piece of junk.

such god damn double standards in the legal system, rich bastards get royal treatment as a punishment and the locals get bashings in prison....UGH!

Re: Breaking News: Paris Hilton released from Jail

paris was already stuffed in the head to begin with

this just shows how stupid America really is, "God bless America"...

No, plz God, don't waste ur time blessing a stupid country like that, bless Australia instead or sumone else

...although, america can do with all the blessings they can get if they r this thick

their justice system is shocking, just shows u that there are 2 sets of rules: one for the rich, and one for everyone else

seems that money can buy everything, how sad

lock her back up

Stoopidness. I'd like to know what this convenient medical condition is. And house arrest? Yes, maybe it would work for any other person but not Paris Hilton! She gets a mansion to herself, so large that she could be outside the permissible zone on her monitor and still be within the house. Not to mention the luxury she'd be living in here. At least she gets the full 45 days sentence, but that really doesn't count for much.

Re: Breaking News: Paris Hilton released from Jail

This is layers beyond fucked. She spent 3 days in prison. 3 days from a 45 day sentence! WHAT THE FUCK! the judge even specifically said she cant spend it in house arrest, it HAD to be in prison. She shouldnt have even been released, it went directly against a court order. I bet that judge is pretty fucken pissed off right now, and i imagine some heads are going to roll for releasing her.

Who said money cant buy everything eh? it sure as hell can buy your way out of prison. Either that or she had to suck alot of dick. Probably both.

Breaking news: Paris Hilton back in Jail.

Screaming Paris Hilton Sent Back To Jail

(AP) Screaming and crying, Paris Hilton was escorted from a courtroom and sent back to jail Friday after a judge ruled that she must serve out her entire 45-day sentence behind bars rather than in her Hollywood Hills home.

"It's not right!" shouted Hilton, who violated her parole in a reckless driving case. "Mom!" she called out to her mother in the audience.

The 26-year-old hotel heiress was taken handcuffed from her home in a black-and-white police car, paparazzi sprinting in pursuit and helicopters broadcasting live from above. She entered the courtroom disheveled and weeping, hair askew, without makeup, wearing a fuzzy gray sweat shirt over slacks.

She cried throughout the hearing, dabbing her eyes, and her body shook constantly. Several times she turned to her parents, seated behind her in the courtroom, and mouthed, "I love you."

Superior Court Judge Michael T. Sauer was calm but apparently irked by Sheriff Lee Baca's decision to release Hilton three days into her sentence due to an unspecified "medical condition."

"I at no time condoned the actions of the sheriff and at no time told him I approved the actions," Sauer said. "At no time did I approve the defendant being released from custody to her home."

"I at no time condoned the actions of the sheriff and at no time told him I approved the actions," Sauer said. "At no time did I approve the defendant being released from custody to her home."

The hearing was requested by the city attorney's office, which had prosecuted Hilton and wanted Baca held in contempt for releasing Hilton despite Sauer's express order that she must serve her time in jail. The judge took no action on the contempt request.

A member of the county counsel's staff said Baca was willing to come to court with medical personnel. The judge did not take him up on the offer.

Assistant City Attorney Dan F. Jeffries argued that Hilton's incarceration was purely up to the judge. "Her release after only three days erodes confidence in the judicial system," he said.

Hilton's attorney, Richard Hutton, implored the judge to order a hearing in his chambers to hear testimony about Hilton's medical condition before making a decision. The judge did not respond to that suggestion.

Another of her attorneys, Steve Levine, said, "The sheriff has determined that because of her medical situation, (jail) is a dangerous place for her."

"The court's role here is to let the Sheriff's Department run the jail," he said.

The judge interrupted several times to say that he had received a call last Wednesday from an undersheriff informing him that Hilton had a medical condition and that he would submit papers to the judge to consider. He said the papers never arrived.

Every few minutes, the judge would interrupt proceedings, state the time on the clock, and note that the papers still had not arrived.

He also noted that he had heard that a private psychiatrist visited Hilton in jail, and he wondered if that person played a role in deciding her medical needs.

The last attorney to speak was another deputy city attorney, David Bozanich, who declared, "This is a simple case. There was a court. The Sheriff's Department chose to violate that order. There is no ambiguity."

As the final pitch was made for Hilton's further incarceration, her entire body began trembling. She clutched a ball of tissue and tears ran down her face.

Seconds later, the judge announced his decision: "The defendant is remanded to county jail to serve the remainder of her 45-day sentence. This order is forthwith."

Hilton screamed.

Eight deputies immediately ordered all spectators out of the courtroom. Hilton's mother, Kathy, threw her arms around her husband, Rick, and sobbed uncontrollably.

Deputies escorted Hilton out of the room, holding each of her arms as she looked back.

Yawn. I'm sick of hearing about Paris-Fucking-Hilton. They're acting as if she's being convicted for murder rather than simply drink-driving.

Re: Breaking news: Paris Hilton back in Jail.

There were others who werent as lucky as her, anyone who does a crime should be punished equally, not because youre paris hilton.

It would have been nice for him to listen to the claims about her medical condition... however at the same time without the papers it's rather baseless I guess. I just don't want her managing to sue the state with her parents high powered lawyers and making money for going through such a 'traumatic event'.

from 23, to 3, to 45. Nice to give her hope, then take it away from her again.

Not the courts fault.
The Sheriff illegally released her, blame him.
If she had just stayed in jail it would have been 23 days anyway.

Can we please not have any more 'Breaking News' threads every time something happens to Paris Hilton. Unless she commits suicide nobody cares.

Re: Breaking news: Paris Hilton back in Jail.

i thought it would be 23 days still or whatever. It went up to 45 days, because she was at home, and i guess 23 days at home isnt that much of a punishment.

But, why did it go back up to 45 days? Not that I really care, but I just assumed it'd be 23 days in jail - 45 at home. Seeing as though she is in jail now..?

What was her medical condition? or is it big secret?
