They have info regarding parking at the e-spot (app forms for permit etc too)

Unless you are a PhD student or are disabled you will have to pay to park on campus. The vast majority of people who drive to UNSW park in surrounding streets. In my opinion the best way to travel to UNSW is by public transport though. Express buses leave every 1-2 minutes in peak hour.

Yeah that's true... except when it's cold & raining!

Students do not get parking permits (according to the prices), read below that:

* In addition to the above, there is Ticket Meter Parking at UNSW.
* All day parking is on the upper floors of the Barker St and Botany St Parking Stations.
* Short Term Meter Parking is available through all Gates and is located on the ground level outdoor parking areas.

2P Short Term Parking (Red Ticket) $2 Per hr, Max 4 hrs
All Day Parking (Blue Ticket) $4/5 hrs, pro rata up to $8 for 12hrs
If you haven't noticed yet, you should give up trying to find decent parking on campus. Even if you have a permit (somehow) you can forget getting a park on campus unless you plan on getting to uni before 8am every morning.

Your best best are off campus and on the side streets, <10 minutes walk and free.
