umm...7.90 coles age is 15yo pretty good compared to woolies which is...6.60 for the same age :)

i'm 18, i work at my uncle's chinese restuarant and i get SHITE pay.
i work from 5pm - 10 or 11pm [depending on the night]
and whether i finish at 10 or 11, i get $40 at the end of the night.

but it's family so i can't exactly complain lol

What is so annoying is that we have people that i work with who do the same work as me if not less work and get payed twice as much grrr just cos they are older. That sucks!

I am 17 I have casual work in department stores EVERYWHERE, I work as a fragrance and cosmetics consultant for an agency called momentum. get 14 bucks an hour. i thought it was heaps but now im not too sure coz you guys are getting heaps.

$22 an hour for working in a nightclub. Have been working there since beginning of year 12.

probaly around $9 ish. dont expect too much with the pay, you'll be lucky to find places who pay you above the award wage.

i work @ a bike shop building bikes and doing repairs. Im 18 and get bout $10.75 an hour but i normally work sundays which is $17 an hour... its also get cash in hand!

DASH ...im going 4 a job @ bunnings and i think as an 18 yr old i'll be getting around $12 p/hr

ohhh and i forgot 2 mention above for all those who are crying and saying they get paid crap... i was talking to a family friend who is around 22 years old and when he was 14, working @macca's he was getting $3.50 an hour! HOW SHIT IS THAT!

and

i work as a waiter at some russian club @ bondi....that's on either saturday or sunday nights...for $105/8hrs...plus tips!!! NO TAX!!!

made $145...last sat!!!:D

for those being paid cash in hand (apart from it being illegal), more often than not it's only benefiting the employer by simply paying you less.

often the only time it would benefit you is if they are paying the same amount they would otherwise, but cash in hand.

normally theyll pay u less and just say "oh youd pay that much in tax anyway", and unless ur working f/t, its unlikely you would pay as much in tax as theyve duped you of

(i get 15/hour software programming)

i get cash in hand (i work at my uncle's restaurant, but i'm not officially "employed") and i know i get shit pay but nyah, i can't exactly complain :D and i guess i don't really mind helping him out :)
