who went to the training day today?
Oh sorry, Carrotz. Who do you mean by who? I'm not familiar with the names of the oldies yet.

I don't know if you guys still care but I found out why some First Years were accepted this time. There was a change of co-ordinators and they made the decision to accept First Years this time because there were not many applicants this semester.

Sorry for the delay.

So, to revive an old thread, here's an excerpt from an email i received:

This is to confirm that you have been booked in for a Peer Network interview on Friday 14th October at 12.30pm. The interview will be held in Student Services, Level 6, Tower Building and will go for approximately 1 hour. Please let reception know that you have arrived, so that they can check your name off the roll.
Interviews are conducted in groups of up to 7 students and are not only an opportunity for us to assess your potential as a Peer Networker, but also a chance for you to learn more about the Peer Network and our expectations of Peer Networkers. The Interviews are also a good time to clarify any questions you may have and to meet others who are interested in the Peer Network.

So, to the Peer Networkers... am i supposed to prepare for this interview?

Is it a show up and you get in, or is there a selection process?

How inconvenient this is-

I think I confirmed with them some time ago, but have totally neglected it to the extent that I may have deleted original email correspondence...

So R - did u recently get that confirmation mail?

Yes "S" (if you're going to get all tetchy about it :p)

I got that email the day before tomorrow.
Maybe you could email them back telling them you have 'lost' the confirmation email?

Well, it's the only way i can get involved in Uni life without having to go to something every week, or disclose my political beliefs for scrutiny.

Plus, i get a certificate and access to highly-paid casual jobs.
