hey all...which pen do you reckon is the best out there?

i like the boldness of gel and liquid ink pens, but i like the smoothness, longevity and fast drying of ballpoints, so when it comes to pens i usually have a hard time finding the perfect one

any suggestions welcome :)

Jetstream - Has all the positive qualities except it has an exceptionally short lifespan.

Most Chinese-made ballpoint pens clog up long before they are empty. Spend a little more on a Japanese brand like Pilot. They run smooth and don't clog.

I love my giant packet of black Paper Mate Kilometrico pens.
Cheap and reliable.

That's not too much of a problem if you get a converter and use bottled ink. Using cartridges gets real expensive real quick.

For uni I like pens with objects on the end (i.e trolls, butterflies), thus amusing myself till the lecture is over.

Parker pens ftw. with stand a year of writing essays. Mine last longer as I use them mainly for exams.
