Is PHYS1121 hard? (in your opinion)

Will I suffer if I have no HSC/prelim physics background knowledge? (currently reading through preliminary physics notes and finding concepts to understand - looking fine at the moment)

What are bridging courses like? Do they just teach the same thing you learn in HSC in a smaller time frame or a bit more?

I have a friend doing the bridging course now, I think it'll be too late for you to get in on that. I think they just teach you the relevant HSC bits, and maybe a few knick-knacks beforehand.

Did you do MX1 or MX2? Did you prelim physics? How did you find Year 10 Science?
i did both maths(MX1 and MX2)

i didnt do prelim physics

i hated year 10 science (my life changed when i saw the 'light' and began to like science after year 10)

oh i just found a random link: http://www.phys.unsw.edu.au/~jw/1131/IntroLS.pdf

--> it says "Assumed physics knowledge: Officially none.", but however, they will go QUICKLY through parts of mechanics (eg. projectiles)

Given that you did MX1 and MX2, you won't 'suffer'. Having said that, there's no guarantee that you will enjoy it, or necessarily do well in it.
