Hey Everyone,

I'm just wondering if anyone knows a store in Sydney (Parramatta/Ryde area ideally) that still sell the old (GENUINE!) pokemon advance games (e.g., firered/leafgreen/ruby/sapphire)? I'm hoping to play them and transfer old pokemon onto my DS pokemon game, but I can't find any place that still sell them. I had a bad experience with ebay, so I wont be trying that again (brought firered and sapphire, but i think they are bootleg :/ dont save and transfer). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Actually, while i'm here - the DS pokemon game I have (diamond) is American, but i'm assuming any english advance game would still be compatible to transfer across right?

The DS doesn't have any localisation restrictions like most consoles.

ANY cart will work in it.

thats true, but wasn't there restriction for the advance? If that's the case, there may be some restriction when transfering from advance to DS? (or perhaps not).

managed to find leafgreen, sapphire and emerald at EB a few days ago for 2nd hand. Was so happy I bought them all, even though the sapphire AND emerald purchase was probably a little redundant :)

ha thats pretty lucky
how much were they?
about 27$ each. (They actually had them for 60$ each but with a 'special' 1/2 price off for all advance games. Special my arse - they couldn't possibly think of selling them for 60$?!).

Nope, I played and traded to/from Jap cartridges on my Aus GBA.
