Who here loves the stuff?

I do but I have to have it with sugar, hate it plain, and i have to get the quick oats one. Glad i had it today coz even at midday it was rather cool...and yet the other day it was like 29degrees, and now its like 17

Yeah, porridge with sugar is great, especially now when the temperatures are getting cooler.

ah..think ive heard of people putting banana in it...makes it a bit bland though.

Do you have yours with milk or water? I have to have it with milk, gives it that creamy taste. And with 3 sugars...otherwise yuck!!

Porridge is awesome in the winter.
I've had it for breakfast everyday this week, besides one when I didn't have time for it.
I don't really like the stuff plain.
I've been having it with Weetbix or Miniwheats combined in it.
When I was little I used to have a Weetbix in it, brown sugar and nutrigrain. It was the best.
Also sometimes Just Right.

.. cereal in porridge? what the fuck?
I think it would add a crunchy texture to the general gloopyness of porridge.

I can see the merits of it.

I might start eating porridge with cinnamon sugar.

Porridge isn't gloopy! Unless you put too much water or milk in it. That reminds me of this guy on British Wife Swap who had porridge that was almost like a milkshake in consistency. That was fucking wrong.

Anyway, I have my porridge every morning with soy milk, yoghurt and either: sultanas, berries or canned mandarins or other canned fruit. Or just honey if we've run out of that stuff. No sugar, ew.

zomg porridge is like the greatest ever. And so cheap! Boxed cereal is a ripoff...anyway...

half cup of oats + one cup of milk + a generous serve of sultanas => bring to boil until well reduced. Pour some honey or golden syrup on the top.

Best breakfast ever.
