I got 80.90. Can't say I put all the effort I could have into it, but it was enough for me, it gets me into uni and into what I want to do, and thats all that matters.

UAI: 80.90
JUAI: 78.50
SAM: 79.40

All the best for the future, class of 2006!

hey guys
congrats all of you oh gosh i feel so dumb coming in here and seeing 99.9 UAIs and hsc scores and all that but i guess if you put the time and effort in thats what you get. I think i did well, considering my terrible creative writing piece, and I still don't know what common law is.

anyway im doing my hsc over two years at tafe, just finished my first year..and wanted to ask some questions. UAI is based on "hsc" mark not examination mark right?

and also i only did two subjects this year three next year this is what i got

English standard 80/100 exam - 78 Hsc mark - band 4
legal studies 74/100 exam - 70 hsc mark - band 4

and next year i do three more subjects. if i get between 75-80 for those three subjects next year, just estimating, do you think that would get me a 70 UAI?

thanks
:)

99.75. Giggidy. SAM said 99.05, so i guess SAM got shat on. International Studies/Law at Syd i think.

Does anyone else feel, past the obvious elation at getting the marks required for their course, a sense of emptiness? i dont feel as happy as i thought i would.

I still feel happier when i eat a fucking awesome herby baked potato or exercise or something.

whats the deal?

i'm interested to know how others feel.

SAM - 98.35
UAI - 98.10

Im kinda disappointed (not about the UAI) about missing out on a scholarship in Macquarie which requires a UAI between 99.45 and 98.50. so yeh thats a bitch. and yes mshiraev, after the intital elation of getting into your course and your marks, i do kinda feel a sense of emptiness, but i cant explain it. It kinda feels like I didnt do as well as my UAI and hsc marks suggest.

HSC marks
English Advanced - 85/100
Studies of Religion I - 47/50
Mathematics Extension 1 - 95/100
Mathematics Extension 2 - 90/100
Information, Processes and Technology - 93/100
Software, Design and Development - 88/100
Business Studies - 93/100

I was so shocked to find out what my UAI was. I wasn;t at home at the time and had to get my mum to go over the internet and do it for me. When she told me it was 94 I didn't believe her! I thought she read something wrong because I got 94 for one of my marks but when she said it really was 94.00 I thought I was going to faint!. I just put my marks into SAM and it predicted my UAI to be 94.30. I am so happy with 94 because I was only expecting 88 tops for my UAI. GO ME!!!! WOOO!

not that anyone cares really, but im totally glad that juai (97.75) + sam (97.7) + school est's (95.6-97.6) are wrong!

You mean 90% of posters in this thread got 90+?
'Cause usually around 10% of the state's students or maybe more get 90+.

I got 33.70 lol. Someone had too.
Well. I'm so sorry that you blew it. As you said "someone had too". But if you're "Realllllly Lucky", you might get something in uni.

By the way, when do we get to find out the cutoffs?

of course 10% of the state get 90+ the uai is a rank. a uai of 90.00 means you beat 90.00% of the state.
