Switch to modern. :p
Teacher says not to worry about the sc results anyway- they're not indicative of HSC results. :D

EDIT: I got 63% in the English trials... rescued by having the 3rd highest half yearly result in the grade and my love of essays. Go the essay! :p

Hardly; they didn't have a single killer question, but a whole group of annoying buggers. :p Those mc questions with more than one answer actually took up more time than 20 normal ones. :)

Find the sum of the first 50 numbers in the fibonacci sequence without adding them:

We were given a pattern like this I think
1+1+2+3+5+8+13=33 (13+21-1)
1+1+2+3+5+8+13+21=54 (21+34-1)

And basically all the pattern represents is that the if you have x numbers in the sequence, the total sum of them is the (x+2)nd number minus one.

hee haa, I dont want to get mine back either.

Hey how is it marked, like I know for english we did those assessments all year (that went towards the final mark). Is it the same for the rest of the subjects...with the final external exam weighting like 30%

(lol, dont really have a clue!)

Does it matter, really? Let it serve as inspiration, because dammit it doesn't mean anything at all! There are bigger and more important things to come.>>>HSC
