Postmodernism? (1 Viewer)

It seems to me very few people do postmodernism in Ext 1. I'm doing it this year, exam is tomorrow, I'm using the texts If on a winters night, Night letters an Orlando (depending on the question)

Is anyone else doing post modernism? Any essay/creative writing tips?

I am - I'm using Orlando + French Lieutenant's Woman (If On A Winter's Night if they ask for 3 set texts)

With the creative - seriously have fun with it. Lots of digressions, authorial intrusions to comment on the action. Intertextual references to high/ low culture. I think with our module you can focus on reading and writing (especially like the way Calvino does it) and also try and integrate some theory into it (like death of the author or Baudrillard's theory of simulcra)

With the essay - structure ideas in terms of idea/ values that they explore (i'm doing gender and history) and then have notions of authorship/ textual dynamics running through it (usually these are the techniques) Use lots of terminology/ quotes from theorists/ rubric dot points etc.
