Basicly we have to Plan, choose equipment or resources and preform a second hand investigation to demonstrate the effect of changes in pH on the activity of the enzyme, rennin. Has to be done in the typical prac report form

Any help, links or advice?

Well if i can remmeber properly to test the effect of pH on enzyme activity u could use he following materials:

- Renin
- egg white
- pH buffer solutions
- a water bath of a constant temp of 37degrees
- test tubes

We had 5 different types of pH solutions and one control with distilled water etc and then we placed 5 drops of egg white into a test tube and then a few grams of renin and then added a particularly pH solution to that test tube. After each test tube was set up we placed them into a large beaker so that it could be held in a water bath for approximately 48hrs. Then we checked the colour and reaction of each....

Sorry my recap is a bit hazy and its only been like a month since i learned this lol
