My name is Peter Fam and I graduated the HSC in 2009 with an ATAR of 99.85 and three state ranks. I have also completed a double degree in Law and Media & Communications at the University of Sydney. Additionally, I have been tutoring for 7 years achieving many state ranks and almost entirely band 6's in that time. I know what it takes to improve your marks in a short period. I only have limited spaces for these special sessions (I still have a full round of my regular students), and the times are slightly irregular as a result. But if you can make yourself available at the times (below), and need some extra help before the HSC, this is for you.
My HSC results were as follows;
English Advanced (97) (Top 20 in State)
English Extension 1 (46)
English Extension 2 (46)
Ancient History (100 - 1st in State)
Extension History (50 - 3rd in State)
Legal Studies (96)
Studies of Religion 2 Unit (95)
I tutor in all of the above subjects.
WITH THE HSC QUICKLY APPROACHING, I SPECIALISE IN TURNING AROUND YOUR MARKS IN A SHORT PERIOD OF TIME
Get in fast, as the slots generally go within a week or two.
LESSON LOCATION
Lessons will be AT YOUR HOUSE - I will come to you at no extra cost if you live within 30KMS of my location in Western Sydney. If you live further away, that can be accommodated at an extra cost.
LESSON TIMES
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday - 6 OR 6.30AM to 8 OR 8.30AM (BEFORE SCHOOL - whether it is 6 or 6.30 depends on what time you need to leave to get to school)
Thursday - 4.30PM - 6.30PM OR 7.00PM - 9.00PM
Friday - 4.30PM - 6.30PM OR 7.00PM - 9.00PM
Sunday - 4.30PM - 6.30PM OR 7.00PM - 9.00PM (Please note an additional cost of $10 applies to Sunday lessons)
Some slight flexibility can occur within these times. Ask and you may (or may not) receive.
COST
Standard lessons cost $80 for two hours. For locations over 30km away from me I may need to charge travel costs. If you or your family are having financial difficulties talk to me about it and we will work something out.
