Ok, heres the idea... have a look at your half yearly results, then your trials. How much did you improve/decrease by? Assuming you go up or down by the same amount for the HSC, what will be your marks for each subject? Heres mine:

Adv. English: 70
Maths: 72
Chemistry: 57
Modern history: 90
Geography: 110
Music 1: 30

I plugged those results into SAM, just for fun, and that'll get me a UAI of around 83!!

These results are nothing like what I think I will actually get (110 for geo?)... its just a bit of fun. Anyone else want a go?

I don't understand the point of these excercises in speculation. They rarely fulfil your initial intention of gaining piece of mind.

Neither does meditation or smoking marijuana, but people still do that.

I failed the HSC.

There is no point. Thats the point. And they don't get you peace of mind either.
