It's because the majority of students won't be able to get marks out of the calculation questions. But yes i do agree with you.

This.. I agree with this so much, i know the content, all of it, but when i wrote it out, i apparently didn't say it in a specific way or something like that

I just find it stupid that they dumb it down this much, when university chemistry is practically all calculation. HSC chemistry doesn't prepare students for uni at all.
