Prelim content (galvanic cells) in HSC (1 Viewer)

Hi everyone, do you guys know if prelim content like galvanic cells can be in the HSC (because I didn't really learn or understand it that well and idk if I should bother studying it)?

very low chance and most likely you won't see it again in y12, in the old syllabus it used to be part of the hsc syllabus as one of the electives (in relation to shipwrecks and stuff like that), but a lot of skills and knowledge from y11 carries onto y12 (such as module 2's mole calculations, module 4 in terms of enthalpy and entropy and all that, etc)

I haven’t really seen any questions on galvanic cells within the hsc papers or trial papers but a few of HSC chemistry exams I’ve looked at usually include entropy/enthalpy questions.

this is bc u revise enthalpy and entropy in y12 again (its in the y12 syllabus) and go more in depth with these concepts e.g how enthalpy relates to dissociation of ionic compounds etc

Yes, I had a feeling that module 5 had a lot of conceptual links with module 4
