i am a little confused with the process of protein synthesis and the part of translation. Is the t-RNA the one which connects to the m-RNA that makes the amino acid sequence?

Hopefully this will help you:

DNA sequence transfered to M-RNA, M-RNA travels to the cell ribosome and each codon of the M-RNA is partnered to by the anti-codon of the T-RNA (each T-RNA anti-codon is attached to an amino acid and each one of these amino acids connects to form the polypeptides).

it's pretty helpful also if you remember what the m and the t stand for... so the m is messenger and the t is for transfer... that way you won't get them mixed up and it helps with what their function is also!
