I went to a Catholic school, and there were some really great teachers, but also some really shit ones. Although the thing I hated the most about it was the toxicity of my grade. We had some real douchebag drug addicts, but we also had some pretentious, high-achieving snobs who looked down on everyone. My grade was the epitome of all the stereotypical cliques you see in cringy high school movies... everyone stuck with their own and didn't want to associate with anyone outside of their 'friendship group'. The whole concept of friendship groups is pathetic. It's such a pre-school/primary school thing that I'm surprised they all considered themselves to be adults.
