yep well we learnt about the mediation and counselling facilities available in the Family Court for married couples...but do de facto couples have access to mediation and counselling services supplied by State courts? Thnx

I think it's only if there are children involved

de facto couples don't have access to the state court system like normal married couples do...gay couples don't either as they come under de facto status. The new law reform family centres though are aimed at giving greater access to the counselling and different services for everyone, not just married couples
