My school permits Year 12s to miss frees first and last. I don't know about your school though.

Your school will have a policy for that as each school has its own rules.

My school insists on all students being at school for roll call and has supervised 'study' periods until lunch for Years 11 and 12.

After lunch, if no classes they can go home (or if no class last period) but they can't go home and come back.

your better off finding out from your school cause every school is different..
my school says we only have to be at school when we have classes and for any assemblies.. but we are a senior school so its only year 11 and 12..

Every school has it's own policy.

The seniors at my school got miffed this year. Up until this year seniors could sign in and out of school whenever they felt like it as long as they attended all classes. They could leave during free periods and come back for their next class and if they had the last 3 periods off they could just leave.

This year (my year group) was told that we were no longer allowed to leave the school at all unless we had free periods directly before the final bell, AND we still need permission from our deputy.
So if we have a free period in the middle of the day we have to stay in grounds. AND to top it all off they introduced roll call for seniors with compulsory DEAR time (Drop Everything And Read) for 20 minutes......:evilfire:

The seniors may as well be juniors in white shirts....

Obviously not a high level of English. Seriously that post made very little sense.
