you do 5 days per week for the 22 weeks of the internship.
or you need 44 weeks all up over the 2 internships that you are required to do.

fuck,

if ur a gifted scholarship student u are given a sponsered internship.
If ur a normal student like maself, u gotta find a place.
In case of electrical engineering, its bloody hard so far to find an internship. Furthermore, UTS's i2ms service is nothing but shit.

Its easy to find a internship if u actually try and not complain where u get sent to.

whats the benefit of doing an internship?
you get a Diploma of Engineering Practice.

where can i read up on them?
dunno where specifically.. but try www.eng.uts.edu.au

seriously just mass apply everywhere... i recieved 12 rejections!
do you know how rejected i feel!

tom --
its around 7-8 hrs work per day
pending on the company.. but yeah.. prolly 9-5 or like mee 8-4.40pm
so its like 38hrs a week
the 22 weeks is just the minimum amount of time... you can go over that amount.. whivh in the long run will be benificial to your career!

whats wrong with civil purp|e?
is croddick too big of a dick head or something?!

get the phone book or drive round some industrial estates near where u live and send stacks of resumes out. Even look in smh and do same.
99% of places pay u for your work- approx $500-$600 for 1st internship.
Probably best chance for securing an internship is "word of mouth" ie through people u know or your parents/relatives etc
