Had a look at a UTS booklet and there are two similar courses

Bachelor of science in Information Technology Innovation

as well as

Bachelor of science in information technology, diploma of information technology professional practice

They both got similar UAI requirements so what is the difference between them, is the practice one more practical and hence better?

none of us do innovation, but the innovation guys do stuff like marketing and that while we're doing only computing subjects for the first year. some things are shared between the two courses but they both have differences. you can probably find more information from people other than us since we don't do innovation.. unless there's someone here that does do innovation of course

...that's about it really.

majority of us are BScITs (biscuits)

we know BITs and BScITs.

I'll ask a few BITs to lend their email addresses for scholarship help

Just a little bit of copy/paste stuff

The Bachelor of Science in Information Technology Innovation is one of four related technology innovation courses offered at UTS. The innovation program embodies a transdisciplinary team-based approach to course curriculum and delivery that is designed to provide graduates with the ability to develop and commercialise technology-based initiatives.
The course offers students the opportunity to develop knowledge and skills in information technology and the know-how to apply this knowledge in the context of any organisation. Students study across major areas of computing and information technology, learning how to develop and commercialise new IT technologies and initiatives. The course combines the study of information technology with the key ideas of innovation, business, capital management and sustainability, and students learn the fundamentals of making ideas work

The Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, Diploma of Information Technology Professional Practice course consists of six academic semesters of full-time study or the equivalent in part-time attendance, and a period of industrial training. The Diploma of Information Technology Professional Practice formally recognises the technical and generic skills developed during the industry training undertaken by all students.
The Bachelor of Science in Information Technology provides an alternative three-year pathway (six academic semesters of full-time study or the equivalent in part-time attendance) to:
*international students who do not want to undertake industry training and the Diploma of Information Technology Professional Practice in Australia before returning to their own country, or
*students who want to undertake the Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Information Technology and pursue further postgraduate study and a research career.
Students completing the four-year Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, Diploma of Information Technology Professional Practice are eligible for entry into the Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Information Technology.

The only difference that I know of apart from what has been mentioned above is that IT Innovation people get $2000 if they get accepted... at least that's what they said, haven't actually heard from innovation people whether they got the money or not, and not sure if they're gonna carry it over for next year either.
