ex1 maths 75% 5/15
2 unit maths 95% 1/40

should i drop 4unit maths??
how they scale the ex2 maths and 2unit maths???
my friend said if i get 60% for ex2 maths then it can be scaled to 88%
but 2 unit maths will scaled down
is it??

DROP E2 MATHS ITS TOO EASY. YES EVERYTHING IS SCALED DOWN. SO IF YOU GET 100% YOUR MARK IS NOW 10%. THATS WHAT USUALLY HAPPS SO AIM AROUND 600% AND YOU WILL BE FINE. HSC IS A BREEZE.

i recommend you keep ext. 2 maths..coz if you screw up in other areas, ext 2 will be there to pull you up

60% RAW OR SCALED. IF RAW, E2 IS BETTER.

Ask your teacher for advice.

The additional bonus you receive by doing E2 is that you get two units scaled at the E1 level, and another two scaled at the E2 level - which is four units with extension scaling, instead of one.

hey i heard you get 100% for 2 unit maths if you do 4 unit. thats part of a reason why im doing it .... but therefore getting a 60% in 4 unit scaled or not will still be good wont it? oh well i say keep 4 unit unless u average 40% below. that would then be bad

you dont get 100% for 2 unit. infact you dont even get a mark for it. instead, e1 is worth 2 units, and e2 is worth 2 units, because it is assumed that you can get 100% in 2u.
