It's not.
Unless your talking about external marks. but if the external mark for your subject was the same in each, then you would be much better off with a higher ranking than a higher raw internal mark, because your internal moderated mark generally only counts ranking and doesnt count raw marks (except for moderating in very very close internal situations).
