What are the raw marks to get these hsc scores (rough approx.)?

chem- 75
phys- 80
2unit maths-85
english std- 75

I'm following this: http://www.uac.edu.au/documents/atar/2010-ScalingReport.pdf scaling on page 35. But I could be wrong.

l think your wrong, last year raw mark for chem 57percent got you 80 and l am sure if you got 88percent in English standard you are probably 85 +.

mate, a raw mark of 81 in chemistry would get you a low band 6

You are. The scaling you're talking about is from hsc mark---> aggregates from which they calculate ATAR. what OP is asking is scaling for raw mark----> hsc mark.
