I can't work the following out, any help is appreciated;

A conductor carrying 2.5A experiences a force of .6N when .4m of its length is placed in a magnetic field of intensity 0.5T.

Calculate the angle the conductor makes with the field;

The supplied answer is 17.45 degrees.

I know it involves the F = BILsin(theta) equation, sadly I can't find theta.

Same. I don't think you can shift sine a number over 1 (which unfortunately is 6 / 5).

17.5 degrees doesn't even get the same answer (.6N).

Maybe this question was a mistake.

Yeah, it's not within the domain of the asin curve.

Best bet is the question is wrong.

lol try that
