retail vs food (1 Viewer)

hey,
does anyone know what the minimum award difference is for working in retail and working in food?

Age? Company? Position?

Without these things it's pretty useless asking the question.

and its for a 19 year old working a sales assistant in a jewellery store/waitressing in a coffeeshop

The minimum wage is probably the same. Unless you are involved in food and beverage (e.g. food and alcohol) I think that working in a coffee shop just goes under the general title of "shop assistant" which is the same as the jewelery store (I could be mistaken). But I doubt there would be much of a difference between the minimum wages.
