my next assessment is the same question as the 2001 HSC and i'm totally lost like i get retreat from the global but the question has sort of confused me....

has anyone got the question and any ideas that could help me or sample band 5/6 essays

Is the question the one about how compelling you find thre retreat from the global as a response to a difficult world?

no its about the ability of the human spirit to survive....

we were told it was the 2001 question

the question is:

"Suppose you are a guest speaker on radio, TV, or in front of a large audience, on the topic of the human spirt's capacity to survive in all sorts of circumstances.
Write out what you would say on the occassion, making specific reference to at least one of your prescribed texts.
in your commentary, reflect on the realtionship between the local and the global drawing on what you have learned from your study of this elective."
