Pick music/film/concerts/whatever and give a short review on it.

I'll start with some CDs -
yesterday I purchased The Low End Theory by A Tribe Called Quest.
I'm liking it a lot...my favourites would be: Check the Rhime or Jazz (We've Got).
8.5/10

The Liars - They Were Wrong So We Drowned.
as a big fan of 'They Threw Us All in a Trench and Stuck a Monument On Top,' i was not disappointed. i haven't listened to it enough but so far i like 'Read the Book That Wrote Itself'
8/10

finally -
Morrissey - You Are the Quarry.
i've only listened to it once, but definitely liking what i'm hearing.

BLACK FLAG - DAMAGED
After being recomended by many people, and downloading a couple of their songs which I quite enjoyed, I decided to buy a Black Flag album.

This album blows ass. I have nothing to say about this album because I didnt listen to it becasue I got sick of it after three tracks. I want my $30 bucks back. End of story =P

Film: Dawn of the Dead (2004)
Rating: *****/*****
Why: Zombies, shotguns, gore, humour, scares, nihilism, decent CGI, improves upon original source material, awesome characterization, Ving Rhames.....

....last but not least, it's the most fun i've had at the movies in about 2 years.

Dawn of the dead

sucked total ass
made no sense --> a lot of things just kinda led to nowhere
the grusome stuff was cool
lots a blood
make up of zombies was awsome
couple funny moments

3/10

edit: best part was the end credits where the played disturbed - down with the sickness

Virgil Donati - Origin & The End

Live, played at The Modern Drummer's Festival USA, 97.

10/10.

One of the highest order technical drum pieces I've ever heard. He is the man.

i thought the blood n guts and death was awsome
but they made too many attempts at a plot
and too many questions unanswered
