I actually don't have all that many quotes. I tend to cite examples from the text, or even quote a few lines or two, but nothing on the extent of this.

Is anyone else concentrating more on context/culture/values?

And on a very odd tangent - is anyone looking at it from a post-colonial perspective? (same goes for any other readings/ways of thinking) Because I'm not... :S

This selection of short storys was my favorite to study (The Castle is better but not for study). But when we went over it we had a very demensional perspective so i havent got as many quotes. could anyone give a poor man a hand

I gotta admit, I don't really have all that many quotes either. Hmm. *skims over HSC Trials essay* in fact, I don't believe I have any quotes at all.

But you know, you don't always need to give quotes. So long as you state a point and give an example from the text - it can be paraphrased - then you've done your work.

AAHH. what sort of a module is this...the board of studies must be crazy. i need to write a 2000 word essay on four related texts. i have one movie, a set of adds and poems (set of 3/4)... do i need another long text? do u reckon i could get away with using another add or comic??

and just to add quotes: - we had to give ten quotes proving quoyles diplacement of quoyle. Possibly follow an argument that certain people belong in the global or local. ie in "The Boat" mother = local cannote exitst outside it yet father = depsite living in local should really be in global and is unhapphy in local. or...ye im getting carried away

Yeah I did look at RTFG from a post colonial perspective (very popular in my grade), but I mostly addressed the post colonial aspects in my additional material.
