samsung d500 V d600 (1 Viewer)

Thinking of buying the 600 model, but is it remarkably better than the 500? ive heard awesome reviews of the 600, but then people say th 500 is better.
does anyone have, or know about the advantages of a d600 over a d500?

ive looked at the specs but im wondering if it really is worth the extra money for the better model.

No the d600 is the better phone. d600 is in its purest sense the upgrade to the d500.

the d600s go for about 500 on ebay, but I can get one for about 280 new with 12 months warranty so its heaps cheap. but if theres more to go worng with the 600s then ill prolly just buy a 500.

I cant wait for the general release of the v3i - means i'll be able to get one with iTunes software on it - as opposed to buying it off ebay and getting it without the iTunes software.

i was thinking of that wen its released but its theres only a few phones i can choose from cheap and the samsungs are on it. like for - 300$ for a d600 thats awesome

D600's screen is really really good but if you've never used it, you probably won't mind using a D500? The memory card support is good because you can make use of the decent 2mp camera and mp3. TV output however isn't as great as it's hyped up to be and the program to view stuff is kinda crappy to use. The phone also lags a bit once you have 300mb+ of photos/videos; but the video playback is awesome, and the recording quality is unbelievably good too.

I wont really use it for TV output, i'll just transfer the pics straight to the computer.You need to buy the memory cards seperately though, right? How many pics would the card (or internal memory whatever it is) it comes with store?

But yeah ive already ordered it so i guess it doesnt matter now!

Aussie model come with 64mb but $58 gets you a 512mb at Stratty Car Radios for Sandisk MicroSD.

I'm having the same troubles deciding. D600 looks way better than the D500 with more features, though the main question seems to be whether we are willing to pay an extra $250-300 for it (+ some more features)

Well its not too much difference, other than resolution. The sensors used in those phones are generally not of a great quality. The photos will take up more memory though.

1.3mp and 2mp are both printable; but 2mp is probably better when you want to zoom or crop.

As for w800i... i hate the interface; but that's just me. Mp3 playback and camera are better than the d600; but I still prefer to use the d600 to the w800i anyday.

I have a k750i (essentially the w88 without the orange) 2mp camera is almosat as good as my 5mp camera.

Excellent photo quality.
