i think that is the question and yeah it is for all values of x.
i think he wrote
"I have two lines:

y=ax
y=2x"
to trick you
Yeah, that is why I said this question is simpler than you think, :D
I have gotten a lot of these questions on my trials, and unfortunately I sometimes think far too ahead and overlook the obviousness
For example the section of MC, where it has Incorrect/Correct statements I got this question in my trial.

(x+y)^2=(x^2)+(y^2)+2

a. y=x (correct/incorrect)
b. x=1 y=-1
c. x=1 y=1
d. y=-x

Believe it or not, I got the question wrong, due to (a), I thinked about it too hard.
But yeah do that question

True true.the moral is, everyone, the questions in the SC do not require thought so don't think about them or you will get them wrong.

lets just ask shit loads of questions tonight guys so we can be prepared for anything.
4 pizzas + delivery = $62
2 pizzas + delivery = $34
assuming all pizzas cost the same without delivery, what is the fixed delivery charge?

Hahaha ripped off a past paper?? i remember doing that
But anyways the answer is $6 :p

Ok.... The entry ticket price to an entertainment park for a child is $16.50
The price for an adult ticket if 50% more than the price for a child.

What is the total price for two adults and a child to enter the park?? (i think SC gives more of these types of questions)

Edit: ok i was beaten to the answer....

Isn't tipping off past papers the best way to make sure we know content relative to what we will be doing.
$16.5/2 = 8.25
8.25+16.5 = 24.75
24.75*2 + 16.5 = $66
