Both will scale very high, without a doubt. Probably a band 5 or 6 in the actual HSC :)
Then again, in saying that your school's rank plays a considerable role as well, along with your cohort performance academically.

The school rank has nothing to do with aligning or scaling.

School rank is irrelevant, however the strength of your cohort *may* affect your moderated school assessment marks if you are not ranked first internally, therefore it can indirectly affect your raw and final scaled marks.
