Hi everyone,

So I think most uni scholarships close on the 30 September. Have many of you applied for one? I'm thinking of applying for the merit and entry scholarship at USyd. But you need to have an atar of min 95.

Has anyone applied for this? Are you confident you will get above 95. I would so like to get this as I'm so indecisive of what course I want to do,so if I do get this, I'll definitely choose the one with the scholarship. Sounds silly, I know.

So apply anyway? No harm right.

You should apply for the scholarship. You've got nothing to lose, only something to gain.

I'd say most applicants who stand out in their personal statements are ones that can sound passionate about what kind of career they want to have, and i'm pretty sure you have to nominate one specific faculty, so if you're not sure of what course you want to do, how would that work?
