can someone tell me what number is Woolooware High School ranked?
Not in Top 200 in 2004 and 2005.

Here is the complete list for 2004:
http://community.boredofstudies.org...2004-hsc-school-stats/7269/2004-hsc-stats.pdf

For 2005, check this topic:
http://community.boredofstudies.org...05/96590/daily-telegraph-top-200-schools.html

If somehow you need the 2003 school ranking, this is the topic:
http://community.boredofstudies.org/216/uai-hsc-marks-class-2003/21138/top-120-schools-2003-a.html

For 2006, what Bookie said - will come out in newspaper (each paper has their own version) around the date you received your HSC result.

I think rankings can be interesting, but only ultimately limited to results.

I'm sure some schools in the top 50 might (and can) bitch endlessly about the sad state of their schools because the government is stupid >.<

Edit my post above to correct the year (not 2005 but 2004) and also add links to other years (2003 and 2005). Sorry for incorrect year earlier. Now it has been corrected.:)

I wouldn't worry too much about how your school's ranking will affect you. My school was ranked about 303rd last time i checked, and we always turn out good results regardless. Ranking isn't everything.

Who gives a damm about what your school WAS ranked. It only matters about what your school will be ranked and it changes in ranking from subject to subject. That
"ranking" changes year to year mostly dependant on how motervated and smart the kids in your grade are. Last year my school did really well in 4 unit maths, why? cause there was a near genius kid there and 3 others who worked their arses of. This year our 4 unit class will go shit and shouldn't be 4 unit (half the 3 unit class is beating em).

Sure some schools have an advantage as they spend more money into educateing their students or they are selective.

It also matters how your class (subject) compairs to the rest of the states which is not published to my knowledge.

mine floats between 80 and 200.

All public schools are under funded, screw the government!
