im pretty sure if your under 18 by law they have to contact your parents when arresting you.
I seriously doubt, unless you are a complete F*ck wit, that you will get arrested for drinking or being drunk at schoolies.
Ie, don't act like a f*ck wit with police and they won't treat you like one

I got busted once in my area. I acted normal told him (i was 16 back then). They asked me to pour it out and told us to stay out of trouble. Wasn't to bothered it was only a bottle of passion pop
