search engine virus?? (1 Viewer)

can anyone help me please??
i have this problem and it only affects any search engine i use. Google ahas been affected the worst..... anyway here goes. You type in whatever you are searching for..whether it be with or without the speech marks. Anyway all that comes up in the results are things like
You can find (INSERT SEARCH QUOTE HERE) at Info.com
and crap like that.....lately google has taken to only displaying one result and that one result relates in no way to the search quote i put in, and on top of that the little bar in the corner STILL says
displaying results 1-10 of 7 squillion.( or whatever)
it's reallllllyyyyy annoying!!! i can get any work done or anything and my bloody virus checker thing won't pick it up either and i have NO idea what to do. Please please pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease help me!!!

at work we charge ppl for fixing hijacked browsers. we charge them by the amount of time spent to do the job.

that includes scanning and everything.

so to getmore money,u do an adaware scan, fix it.
thendo a spybot scan,and fixthat.

some computers take up to 45mins to do everyhting.

can i just ask..how are you supposed to know what to delete with HijackThis???

I would suggest you use Ad Aware first.

spybot, then adaware, the hijackthis.

press 'scan' 'check the boxes u want removed' 'fix'

and now (*thank God*) the thingys working normally again.
