Re: Semester 2 Chatter Thread

Go into the civil engineering building, which is near the carpark on the engo side, and there will be a notice board with directions. I think you go up the stairs, then out the doors (they lead onto a balcony walkway thingy), and walk 15m, and the office is there.

Just look at the notice board (right in front of you when you walk into the civil engineering building).

good parking though.. because i want to know if theres a better alternative then parking at broadway. but i think i'd be pushing the 3hour free parking to do a 2hour exam and walk to and from it etc

i haven't bothered with questions on perdisco. I've stil got week 13 to go which i'll do tomorrow, then i'll review my notes and condense them by writing a formula list.

Is Accounting, Management and Psychology a good major combination?

Through process of elimination it seems like the best for my situation.

Ruling out all that are mathematically related (cause I suck at maths):
Computer Science
Agricultural Economics
Econometrics
Economics
Finance
Financial Mathematics
Mathematics
Operations Management and Decision Science

Ruling out all that are political related (cause I dont understand anything politics):
Political Economy
Government and International Relations
Human Resources/Industrial Relations

Ruling out all others which I lack interest for:
Business Informations System
Commercial Law
International Business
Marketing

So is it a good major combination?
Are you doing a double degree, can you fit 3 majors into a normal 3 year degree? Also with your hate for maths, why are you doing accounting?
On the 3 combo, I can see the 3 areas being linked together. Management and psych I can see going together with accounting fitting in with the management side of things. So not too bad.

Re: Semester 2 Chatter Thread

There are quite a few people doing accounting/management majors. Some of these were accounting/finance majors who found finance too hard and could easily fit a management major in with their remaining units.
