wow a HD in 2B. Impressive.
By the way, I was thinking about taking that gened you did. How did you find it and is it easy (for someone like me with below average intelligence)?

A summary of my results would be
Everything good
A general education course killed everything else and WAM.

The question now is, how critical is a gened? Right now, it's basically the end of the road for me (felt like it) because this gened is depressing. I tried hard (and I mean really worked my **** off). So, how significant is a gened because never in my life have I been punished for something in which I tried so hard in.

Term WAM: 76.50

If I'm requesting for a review of marks, should I forward all my grades to the LIC or is this a bad practice?

~~

3rd yr subject was marked harder than 2nd yr for sure ....

In A.I., I am fortunate because I don't know anything. Recomended for a 'different experience' at university.

Everyone do that gen ed - its all online and could of got 100 if i didnt get two m/c wrong.

Can I just ask, is there some formality involved when requesting the review of a grade? I just emailed my lecturer and tutor basically asking wtf is going on with this mark of 05. I mean, how diffcult is it to change my grade? What's the next step?

Like I said, I was hovering around a DN average in that course last I knew. So either they fucked things up or, or, I don't know.

Wait until the lecturer or tutor replies. If they don't or you're really anxious, call up the school office to see what's happening.

It's not easy to change the grade* but it won't appear instantly on my.unsw. The lecturer has to put in an application form to change the grade.

I was in a similar situation last sem but it got fixed up.

Edit: * What i meant was the process can be time consuming if you want it done straight away. The lecturer goes through each assessment, has to add marks up and then there's the wait but if it changes, it usually appears on my.unsw within 3 days or so (depending how quickly the forms get put through).

quite surprised actually, thought I screwed all my exams..STILL clinging onto a D average after 6 semesters...1 more to go to graduate with "distinction"
my brother did BCom and got Overall WAM of 74.975 when he graduated, and got nothing for it.

I hope you don't end up like him Minai, but you're 0.45 up so unless you get hit by a disaster you'll be all good. congrats on the result

omg so close! he must have been annoyed with that

I'm doing 2 gen-eds, FINS1613 and a legal subject next sem, so I think I should be fine.

just wondering... are you suppose to actually receive something if you graduate with an overall WAM >= 75.00 ?

The feeling that you are superior to others but dumber than all the HD achieving bastards.
