I will be free and rather bored between 1 and 4 tomorrow - so, if I do manage to track you down, we shall definitely be chatting!
You don't have any breaks from 10-1? :(

Poker meat at Manning sometime, people? Will need a few hours to finish the thing, so I'm thinking 4pm-5pm start, $10 to play and we go until it's all over.

Doesn't have to be this week.

On a side note, Townie, Chris, Ashton and Ruby are awesome, and I would like to drink lots of alcohols with them this semester.

Re: Semester I 2007 - Chatter Thread!

I saw brogan @ townhall a few days ago! Not sure if it was him, because I saw him farrrrrrr away (but he still managed to catch my attention). He was wearing blue too, but this time, it's not light/baby blue, it's dark blue. Yes, very sexy.

Consider him lucky I didn't stalk him this time. hehehehe

People who manage to spot Brogan77 during 1pm-6:43pm on uni days please PM me for "surprise"!

can't believe uni is starting tmr....oh no actually it's already march 5th now...wooonooo.. but this summer feels like a LONGGGGGGG journey, I have no idea why. Perhaps it's cuz things have changed so much. Is change good or bad? Why are so many people afraid of it

hope this semester will be a bit different..just a bit.

Or you could be like the rest of us and say hi when you see someone you know. :)

Have to be up at six and I still haven't gone to bed. Good way to set the tone for the semester :)

I might, when confidence arise..

or else, hide!!!!! (yes you should count to 100 and play peek-a-boo)

something that symbolises the distant yet familiar fear:

can one get confidence simply by working hard for it?

it shatters so quickly like how shaven ice melts once removed from the big, big fridge.

:)

Don't know how many of you people do Physics and Maths, 3rd year; but why the hell are there so many clashes between Maths and Physics. MATH3962, MATH3961 and MATH3974 all clash with Physics one way or another. Haven't checked other maths subjects. Take MATH3974 - Fluid Dynamics for instance, they recommend the bloody thing for Physics, but it clashes with both Physics labs.

I'm not a fan of statistics, but a friend of mine wanted to do it. He took two stats and had 7 clashes with Physics. He's considering taking an extra year so he can do a major in stats.

Don't people from Mathematics and Physics departments talk to each other or something? They need better timetabling.

ps: timetabling might be done by someone else, but I think they should take into consideration the relationship between maths and physics.

/end{whining and winging}

I hate my 5 day timetable this semester :mad1: . All late starts, too many breaks, and only 2 lecture on Mondays and Fridays :burn: :burn: :burn:

Re: Semester I 2007 - Chatter Thread!

This year I wanna be a sheep and buy a USYD hoodie. lol Does anyone know how much they cost?

Aside from that, I'll be running from class to class this year coz mine are all over the place. SO here's to losing weight (and getting to class all sweaty and smelly. Lovely.)

I'll be running too. I have one class near Parra Rd and the next class down below City Rd.

I should tell you all this. They've forgotten something here, I should say. On the topic of public holidays...

There should be one on 7 September. It's one-off due to Apec Meetings. This is really really old news and some of us have forgotten.

Sydney residents will enjoy a one-off public holiday on September 7 next year when 20 Asia-Pacific leaders arrive in Australia for a meeting hosted by Prime Minister John Howard.

Re: Semester I 2007 - Chatter Thread!

Today was my first day, and I started it sort of badly by coming late to the 8am maths lecture, as well as getting wet from the rain, as well as not getting a seat for the first 25 minutes or so..but that's okay, cos I finished my day at 10 am.

Resolutions: balance study and work...hopefully
