Should I do an extra honors year for B.comm or just go straight to work?Will the honors degree really help me get better employment opportunities and help me move up in ranks in a business???

Depends on whether you got a desired job offer. It's probably better to have relevant work experience than investing a year into an honours.

Having the honours might help you edge out another graduate with a bachelor - provided that the results are better. Other than that, why not invest your time in a postgraduate masters program - depends on your subject though as to how beneficial this may be to helping you move up the ranks...

I think an honours year is particularly useful in a research based role. This is why a lot of economics graduates finish with honours.

Would rather get into the workforce and build up networks. then do a masters, and the company you work for at that time will probably even pay for it.
