I have my exam coming up and Im writing a creative.
Should I use the word discovered or discovering or discovery in my writing

Don't.

It will make the marker think you're being bland by explicitly stating "oh, I discovered this".

Yep, teridax is right. Using the word 'discovery' in your creative is a big NO NO!

Definitely do NOT write discovery. It will make you appear like band 3/4 student.
