cetaphil and baking soda? how does that work and what quantities do you need?
I mix 2 parts cleanser to 1 part bicarb. You can use more or less depending on how sensitive your skin is.

It works better on my skin than any other high-end scrub. I don't know how it works but it just does. :)

What kind of skin do you have?

I'm always looking for a decent scrub and I have breakout prone skin so that sounds really good.

I have dry skin, so I use olay moisturiser on some days, like when I leave the house. Normally I just use sorbelene or palmer's cocoa butter.

I also mix honey and rosewater together and just massage the mixture on my face and leave it on for about 1-2 hours, about once or twice a week. My mum said it's a nice, natural way to do it instead of just buying facial masks from the shops. I did a facial while I was in India, but my skin went all dry afterwards, even if I put cream on, the dryness wouldn't go away, so facials are not good for me. My mum also has very sensitive skin, when she tried the honey mixture mask, her skin burned and patches of red started to appear on her face. She has sun-damaged skin, so she's really not happy about it.

I tried this, and I never actually thought that bi-carb and cetaphil would ever actually feel like a scrub, but it does and it's great! my skin feels really nice now :)

I have combination skin - dry cheeks, relatively 'normal' t-zone.

I used to get those annoying bumps on my forehead and scrubbing with bicarb worked for me, so I'm guessing it will also help with acne prone skin.

Glad it works for you, steph@nie! My mum even scrubs with bicarb, haha.

I use garnier for skincare, and I like it!
me too. i like the 'blue' garnier deep clean foaming wash. for moisturiser i prefer the body shop vitamin e range. although during the day i'll norm wear the neutragena non-greasy moisturiser with spf 15. for lipgloss and eyeshadows i like bloom products. don't wear foundation or concealer. for mascara i like maybelline

foundations i use revlon
I forgot what my foundation is called. but i remember the shade! lol its sand beige

skin care: i use clinique's range of cleanser, toner and moisturiser
More specifically, Clinique mild facial soap, clarifying lotion 2 and DDML for conbination, dry skin.

ooo lipglosses i have a lancome juicy tube <3 but i also looove stila! the poll had hardly any brands besides those that are at woolies and k-mart. sorry if i sound like a snob, just saying there should be a greater variety
