everyone stressing about this atar thing. Seriously UAC has continuously said that the change will not effect us or anyone for that fact if anything advantage us.

It might affect me in a positive way.
Not too sure though.

A scholarship im applying for has an informal cut-off of 94 UAI.
Assuming they don't adjust it then the 'slightly higher ATAR's' that some people get may make it easier for us to get in :)

But then again its based on ranking so it probably won't make much of a difference.

Now why can't everyone else just convert to the far superior UAI? (At least 100 is a possibility, as opposed to the second best sounding 99.95, what are people going to think? "Oh, I got an ATAR of 99.95" "Aww.. you poor thing, you just missed out on getting a perfect score...")

i actually dont give a crap lol

i think its stupid to change mid year & like the sound of UAI better but mehhh i dont care
