Anyone doing telecommunications engineering with me? raise of hands please.

My friend does, his 2nd year now, but the 1st year is exact same as electrical, software and cse, except u do one telecom subject - intro to telecom - u learn introductory easy stuff like setting up wifi.
Just get through this subject called electronics and u'll be fine = )

btw does anyone have tips on how to move into the photovoltaics/renewable energy related area from elec. ??

Rob Jarman is a lecturer who takes Intro to Elec Eng (Done in first or second semester) he is part of a company APACE which deals with renewable energy (mostly hydro elec) so talk to him.

hey, yeh im doin telecommunications at uts, i wonder what its gona be like, some ppl say its hard and boring, others say its fun, but i enjoy physics, maths and electronics a lot so hopefully ill enjoy it.
