You mean for every half hour?

Or every hour she gets 5 minutes?

But anyway. I think we should all say i write too slow.

But how does the doctor decide you write to slow?
Because can't someone just say yeah i write to slow now i want 5 extra minutes etc.?
ummm...

There was some kid at our school who got special provisions on the grounds of "stress" for some set of exams, it made everyone in his year absolutely pissed... this kid was just trying to get extra time on the exams, because he wanted to do insanely well on his HSC.
Then again, most of the kids at our school who do have special provisions have legit reasons for it. Just this one person decided that he needed an advantage.
ok.

Q. how can you prove you get stressed?

you mean stress attacks... he would need to see a expert/specialist in that area... i don't think the specialist would give him the documentation if he wasn't worthy...unless the specialist was so stupid that he/she couldn't see he was faking it... which she shouldn't even be a specialist if that is the case...

Isn't the HSC generally stressing for most people anyway? So there shouldn't really be any special provision unless the kid was severely stressing to the point of depression.

Personally i think some of the reasons are over the top and some are justified.

My teachers attempted to get me a scribe for the SC but i didn't want one. My handwriting is honestly not that bad. If you cant read it then you shouldnt be marking... or you need to get your eyes checked.

Some kid in my grade gets a laptop for every exam because his handwriting is so bad. Everyone complained, because most people could type faster than they could write. Some even went a step further and handed in a petition - however, I don't think anything came about it.

Nah - I'm not complaining or anything. And I believe this is just a special provision for internal exams - I don't think he's applied for one for external exams yet.

fOR3V3RPINKKKK dont you consider the fact that although you cant get special provisions for handwriting you think that will stop students or even teachers applying and claiming other hand related problems.

Or do you believe the world is morarly correct.

Welcome to the 21st century. Most people will cheat to get a competitive advantage.

the special provisions r harder to get for the hsc.... but for the prelim exams, you still need to get your doctor to sign forms and write a report etc. I should know, i have CP in my legs.

Though people do cheat the system so thats why for the hsc it is alot harder for even the people who need the provisions its harder for them to get them.....

Excuse me, in the 21st it is HARDER TO CHEAT. What we are both trying to prove is that, IT IS HARD TO GET SPECIAL PROVISIONS!!

However, people hide the real reason for why they have Sp
