in economics we have been asked to do a 5min speech, anyways mine is like 7 min or so? do u think that will be okay? coz i cant change the order ( itz like a group speech) and the most important info is at the end so i dont wanna get cut off

Well obviously it depends on the teacher, but if they say 5 minutes, generally that means 6 max. I'm sure you can find something to cut (or just speak faster)

itz a speech that u do with a partner assigned to you. 10 min all up, and my section goes for 7 min i cant cut it down though coz u have to contrast eith ur partner and we have organised what we r including

i fink 6ish min is fine. can u try cut jus a little bit? we had a 5min speech to do as well n half the class did abt 6mins but teacher was fine. at the start he stressed to us several tyms that it absolutely had to be 5mins n that if we went ova, he'd jus cut us then n there n mark it up to where we end. we were all pulling hair out that our speeches were tooo long so i cut up heaps of stuff n was 4mins 45secs. on the day, first person did 6mins n he didnt care. so i took out my long version n used that more thoroughly. so maybe u can do a cut version of speech as a back up copy if ur scared u cant go ova 5mins?
